Cold Storage

AK Trophy Expediters provides secure, temperature-controlled storage for meat, hides, and fish. Everything is boxed to airline standards and weighed under 50 pounds per box to make travel easy.

Shipping

We handle all crating — fish boxes, foam boxes, custom crates — and coordinate directly with carriers so your shipment arrives safely and on time.

Transportation

From airport pickups to deliveries at processors or taxidermists, everything is handled in Anchorage to keep it simple and reliable.

Special Requests

Every job is different. If you need something not listed, just ask. From supply runs to custom packaging, we’ll make it happen.

We are a small, owner-operated business based in Anchorage, Alaska.

Who We Are

The company is run by Nick Ploesser, a local Alaskan who enjoys everything the state has to offer — hunting, fishing, and helping others experience it too.

Nick handles every part of the process himself, from the first call to final shipping. Each client starts with a quick conversation about their hunt and how their harvest will get back to Anchorage. From there, we coordinate the details including bush planes, processors, tanneries, taxidermists, and shipping, and stay in touch to make sure everything goes smoothly.

All services run through Anchorage. Clients fly or ship their harvest to Anchorage where storage, preparation, and delivery all take place in one location.

Do I get my game bags back?
We do not guarantee you will get your game bags back. Best option is to send meat in bags you do not want back and keep your bags with you.

No you are responsible to pay for the shipment before we can pick it up at the cargo hub.

We handle all of the logistics when it lands in Anchorage so you can fly straight home

Yes with a deposit down you can send packages to our company address. Also we can help arrange a cargo shipment to Alaska if you want to fly up your gear.
No we do not. We have butchers who can just debone the meat or have it fully processed before shipping.
Yes you can send sheds & deadheads with your shipment but extra cost will be added to the overall price.
